Right of Withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods.
If the contract covers the delivery of several items, the withdrawal period begins on the day the consumer receives the last item.
How to Withdraw from the Contract
The withdrawal may be submitted:
- by e-mail,
- in writing to the company’s registered office address,
- by using the withdrawal form
The consumer is required to send the goods back within 14 days from the date of withdrawal. Cash on Delivery returns will not be accepted by the trader. The consumer bears the cost of returning the goods.
Refunds
The trader will refund all payments received, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered, within 14 days from the date the notice of withdrawal is received. However, the refund may be withheld until the returned goods are received or until the consumer provides proof that the goods have been sent back.
The refund will be made using the same payment method originally used by the consumer.
Specific Conditions According to the Type of Goods
A) Clothing (e.g. T-shirts)
The goods may be tried on to the extent reasonably necessary to assess them in the same way as in a physical retail store. The consumer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such assessment, for example if the goods have been worn, washed or damaged.
B) Matcha Powder and Other Food Products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,
- food products that have been opened after delivery,
- goods supplied in sealed packaging where the seal has been broken and the goods cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Unopened and undamaged goods may be returned within the statutory withdrawal period.
C) Chasen (Bamboo Whisk) and Ceramic Set
Withdrawal is possible provided that:
- the goods have not been used,
- the goods are not damaged,
- the goods are not soiled,
- the goods are in their original condition.
Ceramic goods must be properly packed to prevent damage during transport. If damage occurs as a result of insufficient packaging, the consumer bears responsibility for such damage.
Reduction in the Value of Goods
The consumer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
